Keep on Pressing
This whole semester at school has been a rough one for me.I’m a junior and a pre-nursing major (no I still haven’t applied to the program yet, but I will be applying in February). SO I have really been focusing on my grades and thinking about back up plans if I don’t get into Nursing school next year (which would push my graduation date back even further), how I’m going to pay tuition (the struggle is REAL right now) and just a list of other things. But everyday I wake up I thank the Lord and keep on pressing through. I know my hard work will pay off eventually even though I don’t see it right now I know it will! So I just encourage those that are in similar situations to keep on pressing things will get better :)
This is too cute… I want it!!!!!

I try to look nice at all times!
This bible verse was sent to me this morning and it blessed me so I thought I would share it… I hope it blesses someone else :)
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts; And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" - Psalms 139:23-24
Tried something different with my hair… I like it!
Had a mini photo shoot! It was t-shirt day at church this morning :)
I was on this blog the other day and they have this neat section called DIY (do it yourself) and some of the ideas up there were really good I will definitely be trying some of them but I chose this one in particular because I live for a pair of ripped jeans
Since the dawn of the skinnyjeans era, Boot cut jeans have been neglected and pushed into the back of the wardrobe doubling as nests for Narnia refugees. What, I found a family of badgers in my stash, and a small talking-ant colony in the back pocket, go check yours. Anyway, I thought this could be a good DIY to bring them back into wear. I think it’d look good for the whole length of the jeans if you’re daring enough.
Why hello there, my name is Whitney and this is the first blog that I have ever done in my life so bear with me. I chose the topic of fashion because it is something that I’m interested in. Initially, my interest of fashion came from wanting to fit in with everyone else. When I was in high school, the popular kids were the ones that dressed really nice and wore certain brands and that made me want to dress like them because it seemed that people were attracted to that. Now that I have grown up and realized that was stupid fashion means more to me. I love that everyone has their own individual style. I’ve realized that in all aspects of life we are not meant to be like another person including fashion. I might wear something that the next person doesn’t like and that’s fine because we all have our own style. EMBRACE YOU!!! if you like to wear shorts, long sleeve shirts and boots then wear it if that’s what you have in your heart to do. Also, whatever you decide to put on that day wear it with confidence; evidently you liked the outfit that you put together so don’t let anyone discourage you from wearing it (b/c I do that a lot and I always regret it afterwards). To simplify, just be you :)
